Photo Shoots Make Me Crazy...

A couple of weeks ago one of my mom's friends asked me to take a picture of the three kids so that she could put it in a special picture frame for my mom's birthday.  Sounds easy, right?  Just one picture was all I wanted.  This slideshow will show you that it wasn't easy. 

Although humorous now, it really wasn't fun at the time.  Ruben was at work and I had to go shut myself in my room for just a couple minutes of quiet time afterwards.  I am not a photographer. 

There were many more pictures taken, but I felt that these pictures captured the moment of my photo shoot the best.  I won't be trying to take a picture of the three kids again by myself anytime soon.

Jonah's first time on the train.  Kaelin, Jonah and I went to the zoo.  I wanted to celebrate his 18 month birthday on Sunday, January 30.

Honestly, I think she gets startled with all the loud and sudden noises in the house and then falls right back to sleep with her hands in the air.

Family of Five -- That Sounds So Weird...

Getting ready for church takes a little extra effort now, but I had to get this picture. 
I think 2 out of 5 were ready... well Kasiana still had wet hair

Kasiana was so excited to go to Dad's Night at her school with her Papi. 
They had a great time thawing out glaciers with dinosaurs in them. 

Jonah and I made a birthday cake for Papi while Kasiana and Ruben were at Dad's Night. 
Jonah loves to help me in the kitchen... just like his sister.  Mom wouldn't like it too much, but now I make room for all three of them on the kitchen counter while I'm cooking.  Kaelin is in her little chair of course.

With all of this cold weather, I have had Kaelin so bundled up. 
Turns out she got a heat rash from it. She's a little hot box. 
It only lasted a couple of days, but I felt so bad. 



Happy Birthday Ruben

Ruben celebrated his birthday and we got a good family picture. We thought we'd post it. Happy Birthday sweetie! You have given me the presents. Thank you for our beautiful babies. I love our family.

Ruben's Graduation

Ruben graduated on December 11 and our new little bundle of joy came 3 days later. Happy Graduation Sweetie! We bought him a flat screen in October as an early graduation gift... thinking he might enjoy that first, before his real present (the baby) comes.

My Little Jonah is getting so big

 

Jonah is getting so big. He cracks us up, and always does the funnest things. We love him so much and everything that he brings to our family. Looking at pictures tonight, I saw this one and realized how big my little guy is getting. He just turned 17 months and is starting to lose his little "Charlie Brown" look. He's starting to get more hair and it is darker now. He loves the camera and is always smiling.
