Summer Fun: The Zoo... the movies... and the museum

We've been having so much fun this summer... and we've been pretty productive so far. We definitely have a lot to get ready for. The baby is scheduled for July 30... I go in at 5 am... ready or not?? In the mean time we've been busy getting things ready and scheduling in our fun...

During the record breaking temperatures, we decided to go to the zoo.

We had a nice little picnic, and Nita went with us.
We are missing her so much this summer.

A memory of this trip that I don't think we'll soon forget is me running back to the car to retrieve a subway sandwich that was jostled out of our wagon on the way into the zoo. I caught a family just in time as they were picking it up in the parking lot... they asked if it was mine.

They probably thought... "Is there room in that pregnant belly for that sandwich?"

We all got a good laugh.

Kasiana rode in style in her wagon built for two... If only it was big enough to haul me.

Kasiana has become accustomed to listening to her movies on her headphones in the car... which we don't mind at all. She watchesher fair share of Wiggles Christmas.
It is nice not having to listen to it all of the time.

We've gone to a couple of movies this summer. After the excitement of being there, Kasiana seems to enjoy it. We love the dollar day movies and popcorn.

No they are not dating... and we aren't setting them up. Jace and Kasiana have become really great buddies this summer. They have so much fun together.

Papi is a little bit worried about this though...

We went on a fun little outing to the children's museum. Kasiana and Jace found a way to cool off at the waterworks exhibit.
My pregnant belly is in the background... can I dip my body in there too?


"Yes, Kasiana... Cows have mimis too... and no... you may not drink them..."
