Livin' Large at Tio's Hotel in the Presidential Suite

They completely spread out in our King Size bed.

Kasiana enjoying the crackers and fruit that Tio left us in our room.

The view of the golf course from our suite. That little dot back there is Ruben and Tio (Just kidding..)

I took the kids to a local pumpkin patch outside of Fort Worth, while the guys golfed.

Kasiana was a little freaked out by the spooky train station.

We rode the little train to the pumpkin patch

Here's my pumpkin Mommy

My Little Man

So sweet. I love this little guy so much!

He's a little baldy. The little hair that he was born with is now gone.

Jonah loves his baths

Things I love About Being a Mom

We went to Walmart tonight to pick up a couple of things and it was right about Kasiana's bedtime. Well, she wanted just about everything in sight for her and her brother. I finally got her to stop throwing fits, but I couldn't leave the store without buying her last request. She know how to sucker me... "Mom, Dr. Oz says we need to buy oranges and eat 'em." I went over to get them, and next to them she saw the grapes. You can guess... "Dr. Oz says we need to buy grapes..." We didn't leave with grapes...

The Best Family Vacation

We had the best time on our little family road trip and vacation to Utah... So sad that we have quickly slipped back into the reality of our lives that I barely have time to post about it. We had THE BEST time. I will post pictures later. I've been updating my school blog so much that I haven't posted to my family blog since the trip.

It is really sad that school literally beats me up and tries to suck the life out of me. I won't let it though. Life is crazy right about now... but I'll get through. Thanks to my sweet family -- they are making life bearable.

Racing Against the Storm

Tuesday, December 22 -
Driving through Colorado we wondered why we ever left the Rocky Mountains. It is absolutely beautiful out here. As Ruben said, "The mountains don't even fit our personalities." Ruben worried the whole time driving through the mountain passes. He just wants to get to flat land before the snow hits. We felt bad that we didn't get to stay very long in Denver with Ruben's sister. She is very nice and her daughter is just precious. Kasiana didn't want to part with her toys. We'll be coming back through and the two will be able to play together then.

I'm hoping to surprise my first mission companion from the field when we pass through Grand Junction. I only have her address. I lost her phone number.Maybe we'll save that for the trip back too. We'll see how the weather goes.
