Driving through Colorado we wondered why we ever left the Rocky Mountains. It is absolutely beautiful out here. As Ruben said, "The mountains don't even fit our personalities." Ruben worried the whole time driving through the mountain passes. He just wants to get to flat land before the snow hits. We felt bad that we didn't get to stay very long in Denver with Ruben's sister. She is very nice and her daughter is just precious. Kasiana didn't want to part with her toys. We'll be coming back through and the two will be able to play together then.
I'm hoping to surprise my first mission companion from the field when we pass through Grand Junction. I only have her address. I lost her phone number.Maybe we'll save that for the trip back too. We'll see how the weather goes.
